How To Install Our Decals

How To Install:
The Prep:
- Clean the smooth surface its going on (Duh)
- Make sure its DRY. If you just used glass cleaner in step 1 make sure you get rid of the oily residue it just left behind.
Small Decals:
- Take your credit card or a squeegee and firmly squeegee both front and back of decal while it is still on the paper, do this slowly and firmly.
- Slowly peel the paper off the back while holding onto the clear transfer. Don't get in a hurry at the end
- With the decal on the transfer still, make it have a bowing "U" shape in the middle while holding it with both hands on either side.
- Make sure your putting it on level. Use a reference point. The window trim is always a good one
- With it still in the U shape, slowly put it on with the middle touching first, then lay down either side.
- Now take that credit card or squeegee and press it on there from the MIDDLE OUT. Very important.
- Take your time on step 6. Work any bubbles out while it's still covered by transfer to keep from tearing vinyl
- Slowly peel away transfer paper and boom!
- Throw your garbage away! Or toss it in the back of your friends truck.
- Enjoy! Any small bubbles will go away when the heat hits hit.
For Big Decals:
- Take your credit card or a squeegee and firmly squeegee both front and back of decal while it is still on the paper, do this slowly and firmly.
- Use two people, this will help
- Center decal by measuring both sides
- Once centered, use 5 pieces of tape to hold decal there. One in the center, one on each end, and one in the middle between the two.
- Slowly peel decal partly off the paper and place one end down on the surface
- While your friend pulls back the paper, slowly squeegee it down, Take your time here.
- As you go along the length of the decal, squeegee it slowly while your friend pulls back paper and removes tape as you go.
- Once laid down fully, give one more final squeegee insuring you got the bubbles out.
- Slowly remove clear transfer paper off decal and boom!
- Throw your garbage away! Or toss it in the back of your friends truck.
- Enjoy! Any small bubbles will go away when the heat hits hit.
